Contract Details:

This is a temporary position for a Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Room of a medical facility. The contract length is for a specified period of time, with the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team and work in the Emergency Room of a medical facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and be able to provide compassionate and efficient care to patients in critical situations.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting

- Assess and triage patients based on their condition and urgency of treatment

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the Emergency Room setting

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification 

- 2 professional references.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

12-hour shift three days each week, with the shift schedule being from 19:00-07:30
