Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery / Mother Baby (Nights) - 53676

Job Overview:

Confident Staff Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a temporary basis for a 12-week assignment, with the possibility of extension. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to patients in the Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby units during the night shift.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby units, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures

- Assess and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Educate patients and their families on postpartum and newborn care

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols

- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities

Qualifications:

- Active RN license in the state of [insert state]

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby units

- BLS and NRP certifications required

- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed

- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
