Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights) - 53678

Confident Staff Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Med Surg Nurse on the night shift. This is a temporary contract position located in Glens Falls, NY. As a Med Surg Nurse, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients who are admitted to the medical-surgical unit. Your primary role will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians - Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care - Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records - Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards - Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families - Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Qualifications: - Valid RN license in the state of New York - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting - BLS certification - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends - Ability to handle high-stress situations and prioritize tasks effectively At Confident Staff Solutions, we value our employees and strive to create a positive and supportive work environment.
