RN Stepdown

Confident Staff Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Stepdown for a temporary, 13-week contract in Birmingham, AL. As a leading healthcare staffing agency, we pride ourselves in providing top-notch healthcare professionals to our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and medical history

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Provide patient education and support to promote healthy lifestyle choices and self-care management

- Monitor and document patient progress and respond to any changes in condition

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

Qualifications:

- Active RN license in the state of Alabama

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Stepdown unit

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
