Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Contract: 13 weeks

Salary: $80.00 per hour

12-hour shifts

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Towson, MD on a temporary basis. As a Med Surg RN, you will provide quality care to patients with a variety of medical conditions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care

- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans

- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards

- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families

Requirements:

- Active RN license in the state of Maryland

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med Surg setting

- BLS and ACLS certification

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical terminology

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families
