Confident Staff Solutions, a leading healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients and supporting healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures

- Take and record patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information

- Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers

- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment

- Assist with patient education and follow-up instructions

- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members

- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program

- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or equivalent

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting

- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems

- BLS certification preferred
