Our client is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Iron River, MI for a 3-month temporary contract. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the physician

- Assist with patient assessments and care plans

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventive care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Adhere to all nursing standards, policies, and procedures

- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

- Active LPN license in the state of Michigan

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices

- Basic computer skills

- BLS certification

- Ability to work flexible hours and handle a fast-paced environment
