Confident Staff Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Windsor, VT on a temporary basis. As an SLP, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. You will work closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient needs
- Provide therapy services to patients with various communication and swallowing disorders
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech and language pathology
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and progress
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with patients of all ages with various communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
