Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Confident Staff Solutions on a temporary basis. As an RN, you will provide quality patient care and support to individuals in the Med Surg unit during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care and support to individuals in the Med Surg unit during night shifts

- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and report any changes to the healthcare team

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans

- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment, and self-care techniques

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports

- Adhere to all nursing standards, policies, and procedures

- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing

- BLS and ACLS certification

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as needed
