Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team in New York, NY. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work with individuals, families, and groups to provide therapy and support for those struggling with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to assess and address clients' mental health needs

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' specific needs and goals

- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in emergency situations

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job performance

- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher
• LCSW, LMFT or LMHC in NY
• 1-year relevant experience

Preferred:

• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Evidence-Based Practice
• Telehealth

- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques and treatment modalities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to working with clients

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality

- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
