Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated ER Nurse Manager to join our team in Kearney, Nebraska. As the ER Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients and maintaining a positive work environment for the nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the emergency department, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

• Handle patient and family complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

• Participate in the hiring, training, and development of nursing staff.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the nursing staff and patients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Nebraska.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency nursing.

• Previous management or leadership experience in a healthcare setting.

• Strong knowledge of emergency nursing practices and procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and make quick and effective decisions.

• Proficient in electronic health record systems.
