Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse in our Med Surg unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients who are recovering from various medical conditions or undergoing surgical procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. This is a night shift position, with 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery

- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Maryland

- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a Med Surg unit

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to work night shifts and weekends as needed
