Animal Medical Center of Louisa is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our friendly, supportive, and well-established practice. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a peaceful country setting while working alongside a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and treatments

• Administer medications, vaccines, and anesthesia under veterinarian direction

• Monitor patients during procedures, anesthesia, and recovery

• Collect and process lab samples, run diagnostics, and maintain accurate records

• Educate and support clients on preventive care and treatment plans

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked hospital environment

• Mentor and support assistants and support staff

Qualifications:

• Current Virginia Veterinary Technician licensure (or eligibility)

• Experience in anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, and laboratory procedures

• Strong communication, teamwork, and client education skills

• Compassion for pets and clients with a positive, proactive attitude

Clinic Hours:

• Monday & Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM

• Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
