We're looking for an experienced IT Security Manager to oversee critical infrastructure protection and information assurance for our federal client! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) program to ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Manage risk assessments, vulnerability tracking, and remediation plans.
- Administer security program, collaborate on incident response, and ensure compliance with encryption policies.
- Provide regular security posture reports and updates on policies and assessments.
- Train IT staff on security practices and represent federal agency at oversight meetings.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Masters preferred).
- At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience, including managing IT security in federal or healthcare environments.
- Required certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CGRC, or ISC2 CAP.
- Expertise in risk assessment, vulnerability tracking, and incident response.
- Familiarity with NIST standards, including SP 800-53 and SP 800-18.
