職務概要

ITインフラエンジニアは、顧客先オンサイト環境におけるエンタープライズITインフラの運用および継続的なサポートを担当します。本ポジションでは、インフラシステムに対する強いハンズオンの技術力とオーナーシップが求められ、ローカルITマネージャー、グローバルITネットワークチーム、国内ベンダーと密に連携し、安定性・セキュリティ・拡張性の高いインフラ運用を実現します。

主な業務内容

• サーバー、ストレージ、ネットワーク機器、サーバールーム、CR設備を含むエンタープライズITインフラのライフサイクルおよび資産管理
• 無線アクセスポイント、スイッチ、ルーター、ファイアウォール、周辺機器などの技術点検、テスト、トラブルシューティングおよび是正対応
• 有線・無線ネットワーク環境の可用性維持、接続性やパフォーマンス問題の予防的な特定および解決
• インフラ関連インシデントにおけるオンサイトのエスカレーションエンジニアとして、ローカルチームおよびグローバルインフラ／ネットワークチームと連携し解決を主導
• インフラ監視およびアラート対応のサポート、グローバルチームと協力した調査および是正対応
• 必要に応じたラボ環境および本番環境インフラの構築、設定、保守
• ベンダーやメーカーと連携したハードウェア修理、交換、ライフサイクル更新の調整
• 外部インフラサービス／製品ベンダーとの調整（発注書〈PO〉依頼、契約更新など）

追加業務

• 顧客のグローバルITチームと緊密に連携し、インシデント解決、問題管理、インフラ改善を支援
• インフラおよびネットワーク関連プロジェクトへの参画、割り当てられた技術タスク／ワークストリームの担当
• プロジェクト管理、調整業務の支援および必要に応じたタスクのリード
• 変更管理プロセスの支援（インフラ関連の変更要求の起票、文書化、進捗管理）
• 技術作業報告書および運用状況レポートの作成・提出
• 定期的または臨時での顧客サイトへの出張対応
• インシデント、メンテナンス、プロジェクト対応に伴う時間外・週末対応（必要に応じて）

必須スキル・経験

• エンタープライズ環境を支えるITインフラエンジニアとしての実務経験4～7年
• サーバー、ネットワーク、エンタープライズインフラ運用に関する強い技術知識
• インシデント管理、問題管理、変更管理システムの利用経験
• 顧客対応型のオンサイトインフラ業務での実績
• 複数の顧客拠点間の移動・出張に対応可能であること
• 英語および日本語のバイリンガル（日本語は流暢レベル、最低JLPT N1）

Computacenter is seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our onsite role at our pharmaceutical client.

Role Overview

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the operation, and ongoing support of enterprise IT infrastructure in a customer onsite environment. This role requires strong hands-on technical experience, ownership of infrastructure systems, and close collaboration with local IT managers, global IT network teams, and domestic vendors to ensure stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the lifecycle and inventory of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network equipment, server rooms, and CR facilities.
• Perform technical inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and remediation of infrastructure components such as wireless access points, switches, routers, firewalls, and peripheral systems.
• Maintain availability of wired and wireless network environments, proactively identifying and resolving connectivity and performance issues.
• Act as an onsite escalation engineer for infrastructure-related incidents, coordinating resolution with local teams and global infrastructure and network teams.
• Support infrastructure monitoring and alert handling, working alongside global teams to investigate and remediate identified issues.
• Assist with the build, configuration, and maintenance of lab and production infrastructure systems as required.
• Coordinate hardware repair, replacement, and lifecycle refresh activities with vendors and manufacturers.
• Coordination with external Infra service/product vendors including requesting for POs, and renewals.

Additional Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with customer global IT teams to support incident resolution, problem management, and infrastructure improvements.
• Support and participate in infrastructure and network projects, taking ownership of assigned technical tasks or workstreams.
• Assist with project management, coordination and take lead on assigned tasks as required.
• Assist with change management processes, including raising, documenting, and tracking infrastructure-related change requests.
• Prepare and submit technical work reports and operational updates as required.
• Travel to customer sites to provide onsite engineering support on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis.
• Provide after-hours and weekend support when required for incidents, maintenance, or project activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure engineering, supporting enterprise environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of servers, networking, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
• Experience working with incident, problem, and change management systems.
• Proven ability to operate in customer-facing, onsite infrastructure roles.
• Willingness to travel between multiple customer locations as required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (Fluent Japanese level, minimum JLPT N1).

• Experience supporting or delivering IT infrastructure projects in enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Experience collaborating with global IT teams and local teams across different time zones.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, production-critical environment.
• CCNA, CCNP certification or equivalent networking knowledge.

Work Location

• Based at customer office in Shinjuku, Tokyo
• Periodic travel required to customer sites within Tokyo and Saitama

Language Requirements

• Business-level English and Fluent Japanese, minimum JLPT N1 (reading, writing, speaking)
