About the Role: Computacenter Japan is looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will initially be stationed onsite at our customers location, a Food & Beverage (F&B) company, where they will manage daily IT operations, ensure optimal service delivery, and support IT-related projects. This role demands a proactive approach to enhancing user experience and maintaining compliance with global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily IT operations and provide support.
  • Ensure efficient IT service delivery, including helpdesk and onsite support.
  • Oversee the daily support and evolution of IT environments.
  • Contribute to and coordinate projects to ensure compliance with global IT standards.
  • Proactively enhance the user experience.
  • Manage IT-related projects and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Act as the single point of contact for application, hardware, and software issues reported through various channels (SNOW, email, chat, walk-ins, and phone calls).
  • Handle incident and request management.
  • Manage IT assets and provide project support.

Requirements:

  • A customer-oriented mindset with a strong passion for excellence.
  • Ability to adapt to and lead change with resilience, determination, and flexibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management/coordination experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT customer support, including client-side hardware and software, printers, helpdesk, and onsite support.
  • Technical knowledge, including:
    • Windows 10 & Windows 11
    • Windows Server 
    • Basic understanding of Cisco Products (Switches, Wi-Fi Access Points, Wi-Fi Controllers)
    • Outlook, Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory
    • LAN/WAN knowledge, basic network troubleshooting

Language Proficiency:

  • English: Business Level
  • Japanese: Business Level

Additional Information:

  • Site visits to Gunma are required from time to time.
  • No smoking is permitted inside the office.

Working Hours:

  • 8:45 to 17:45.
