Woodworker (Carpenter)

Job Specification & Requirements:

• Custom furniture production - creating kitchens, staircases, solid wood, flooring, doors and interior furnishings based on project documentation.
• Restoration of antique or rustic furniture - repairs, stripping old finishes, and restoring wooden pieces such as cabinets, wardrobes, and chests of drawers.
  
• Chemical stripping of wood - use of chemical methods to remove old coatings and protect wood against pests.
• Assembly and final installation - on site installation of manufactured components ensuring careful handling and high-quality finishing.
• Working on wood milling machine.
• Occasional assistance with blacksmithing and metalwork.
• Occasional help in other department after deal with supervisor/leader.

Requirements:

• 4 years demonstrable experience as a woodworker/carpenter.
• Working in custom production and restoration of antique or rustic furniture - huge advantage.
• Wood carving experience - huge advantage.
• Huge advantage - knowledge of working and programming on a five-axis CNC Rover Biesse.
• Blacksmith and metalwork experience - advantage.
• Experience operating wood milling machine.
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Willingness to work, responsibility, loyalty to the company.
• Men: age 25-40
