Health Support Assistant (Medirex)

Job specification

• Receive samples of biological material, sort them, and send them for processing to the respective workplaces
• Perform centrifugation of biological material samples
• Check the completeness of biological material samples together with the accompanying requests
• Verify barcodes
• Enter requests into the laboratory information system
• Scan requests and print the corresponding result reports
• Prepare samples (e.g. calprotectin, HPLC, AAS)
• Operate urine and blood cell analyzers under supervision
• Perform auxiliary tasks in the bacteriology and parasitology section under supervision

Candidate Requirement

• Completed education as a medical laboratory technician
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Independent, efficient, quality-oriented, punctual, and a team player
• Good health / medically fit
• Willing to learn the Slovak language
• Positive attitude and joy in work
