CØMPΛNIUM Hospitality is an executive firm working with leading luxury hotel management companies with a global portfolio of renowned hotels & resorts. 

On behalf of one of their clients, CØMPΛNIUM Hospitality is looking for a General Manager for a luxury hotel in Doha, the flagship of the brand.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the brand flagship luxury hotel in Doha, Qatar. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-end hotels and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Main requirements

  • Experience in the different areas of the world, such as GCC, Europe/US and Asia
  • Solid experience in top luxury hotels & resorts groups
  • Please apply only if you worked for top luxury hotel brands (not premium brands)
  • Experience in city hotels in tier cities / capitals
  • Already a successful experience as GM of an important hotel in terms of size and level of range : luxury hotel


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations with the Hotel Manager, and all strategic and financial missions with the ExCom of the hotel
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and profitability
  • Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance and make necessary adjustments to achieve budgeted goals
  • Lead and motivate a team of ExCom members, department heads and ensure effective communication and collaboration among all departments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the owning company and the managing company
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations of the state of Qatar
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competition, and make recommendations for improvement and growth
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and excellence
  • Report to the owning company as well as the managing company


Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality Management  or business - Master or MBA degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in luxury hotel management, with at least a first role as General Manager 
  • Proven track record of success in managing high-end properties and achieving financial targets
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to make strategic decisions
  • Exceptional guest service skills and a passion for delivering a luxury experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of tge GCC / Middle East market is an asset
