orchestrating, and supervising AI-powered development systems — not by manually writing

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a high-caliber, agentic-first Full-Stack Engineer to help build and scale

software products across our venture studio portfolio — KD Ventures. This is not a

traditional role focused on manually writing code throughout the day.

We want an engineer who knows how to design, orchestrate, supervise, and

improve AI-powered development systems.

The ideal candidate will use agentic frameworks to manage multiple coding agents, define

technical specifications, delegate implementation work, review output, detect issues, and

maintain the infrastructure needed to deliver reliable software quickly.

Initial Focus: EQIQ

The initial focus will include EQIQ, a data-driven platform for the equine industry that will

create a comprehensive record of a horse's history, care, transactions, performance,

ownership, and valuation.

DAY-TO-DAY

Key Responsibilities

Design & Orchestrate

Design and manage AI-powered software

development workflows

Orchestrate multiple coding agents across

local and cloud environments

Translate product requirements into

technical specifications, implementation

plans, and development tasks

Configure agents to build separate

modules, APIs, integrations, and application

components

Review & Quality Control

Review and validate AI-generated code for

quality, security, maintainability, and

performance

Implement automated testing for modules,

functions, APIs, and user flows

Prevent regressions through unit,

integration, and end-to-end testing

Monitor applications and create automated

processes for detecting and resolving errors

Infrastructure & Data

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using

GitHub and cloud deployment platforms

Design scalable relational database

structures

Support deployment, observability,

performance optimization, and application

scaling

Collaboration & Growth

Manage token usage, model selection,

routing, and agent infrastructure efficiently

Collaborate directly with company

leadership to turn business requirements

into working products

Help establish best practices for a growing

agentic software engineering team

Assist with the evaluation and future hiring

of additional developers

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Technical Skills

Strong full-stack development experience Strong understanding of relational database

design

Advanced knowledge of Node.js, React,

Next.js, and TypeScript

Experience with PostgreSQL and platforms

such as Neon or Supabase (our initial database

stack) Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows Experience deploying applications through

Vercel or similar platforms

Experience creating automated tests for

modules, APIs, functions, and user interfaces

Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, EC2,

and RDS

Experience with GitHub-based development

and deployment

Ability to develop and manage applications in

local and cloud environments

Strong understanding of debugging,

observability, and regression prevention

Ability to build secure, scalable, and

maintainable systems

Agentic AI Experience

Candidates must have practical experience using AI as a core part of the software

development process. We are specifically looking for experience with:

Claude Code Agent orchestration and delegation Automated code review and testing Development harnesses such as GStack,

OpenClaw, Hermes, or similar frameworks

Using different models for planning,

implementation, review, debugging, and testing

Multi-agent development workflows

AI-generated technical specifications and PRDs

Token and model-cost optimization

Cursor or comparable AI-native development

environments

Basic usage of GitHub Copilot alone will not satisfy this requirement.

A STRONG PLUS

Automated browser testing

Agent infrastructure running across multiple machines or virtual environments

Payment-processing integrations

Data and analytics platforms

Blockchain integrations, particularly Ethereum-compatible networks such as Base

Experience building data-intensive marketplaces or transactional platforms

Experience developing products from initial MVP through production scale

Communicates fluently: Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to

communicate directly and fluently with U.S.-based leadership.

COLLABORATION

Working RelationshipThis is a full-time, dedicated role. The selected engineer will work exclusively with our

business and will not be divided among unrelated client projects.

SELECTION PROCESS

Evaluation Process

Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a practical, reasonably scoped technical

assessment based on a PRD.

The assessment may evaluate the candidate's ability to:

Create an agentic implementation plan

Configure and orchestrate multiple coding agents

Design an appropriate relational database structure

Establish a CI/CD workflow

Produce tested, maintainable code

Detect and correct errors

Explain model selection, token usage, and cost-management decisions
