Property Manager (Jr–Mid Level)

About the Role

We're looking for a Property Manager, junior to mid level, to join our team. The role starts as part-time for a trial period, with a real path to move into a full-time position based on performance. The selected person will be the main point of contact for tenants — answering phone calls, receiving requests, and coordinating repairs across the properties in their care — always delivering warm, professional customer service.

A Customer-Service-First Role

Tenants need to feel there's someone reliable on the other end of the phone. This role is about listening well, coordinating quickly with vendors, and keeping every tenant informed until their request is resolved.

Key Responsibilities

Answering Calls — Answer phone calls from tenants and property owners in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.

Receiving Requests — Receive and log tenant requests, following up until they're fully resolved.

Coordinating Repairs — Coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors, ensuring appropriate response times.

Customer Service — Deliver a warm, solution-oriented experience in every interaction with tenants and owners.

Written Communication — Draft emails, messages, and follow-up notes with good grammar and a professional tone.

Bilingual Communication — Communicate fluently in both Spanish and English, verbally and in writing.

Tools You'll Use

Required: Phone / Calling System — comfortable handling phone lines and basic call center systems.

Required: Email & Office Tools — Gmail/Outlook, Google Workspace, or Office for daily communication and documentation.

Required: Coordination Tools — Slack, WhatsApp Business, or similar platforms to coordinate with vendors.

Nice to have: Property Management Software — prior experience with AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, RentManager, or similar.

Nice to have: CRM — familiarity with CRM platforms for tracking tenants and properties.

Nice to have: Ticketing Tools — experience managing maintenance requests through ticketing systems.

Requirements

Prior experience in customer service (junior to mid level) — Required
Fluent Spanish and English, spoken and written — Required
Strong writing and verbal communication skills — Required
