Job Description: Events Manager
Client: Faith-based organization (church)
Reports to: Senior Pastor/Bishop & Chief of Staff
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM local time, plus on-call as needed
Compensation: DOE, paid semi-monthly
Type: Full-time
Role Summary
The Events Manager owns how the organization's audience experiences and engages with its leadership through impactful live events, community activations, conferences, and special productions. This role leads the planning, coordination, and execution of events that strengthen audience connection, elevate the brand experience, and create memorable moments across every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbox, phone line, and email communications, responding to urgent items promptly and using brand templates as needed.
- Finalize preparation for events and experiences; coordinate with internal staff on event status and logistics.
- Execute and oversee daily social media collaborative posts across organizational channels, optimizing for peak engagement.
- Complete and submit weekly event checklists for leadership review and approval.
- Audit and update event assets and production elements ahead of upcoming experiences, resolving issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation, passwords/access codes, and vendor records as applicable.
Requirements
- Pass a background screening process.
- Sign an NDA / confidentiality agreement.
