Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the Compliance department in the Argentina office, alongside external consultants.

  • Manage the outsourced compliance team, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.

  • Oversee and maintain compliance policies, internal audits, and regulatory processes.

  • Act as the main point of contact with regulatory authorities, including UIF (Financial Intelligence Unit) and CNV (National Securities Commission).

  • Conduct risk assessments, due diligence, and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.

  • Provide training and guidance to employees on regulatory requirements.

  • Develop detailed compliance reports and ensure timely submission to regulatory authorities.

  • Collaborate closely with the compliance team in Brazil to ensure regional alignment.

Mandatory Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in finance/compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of Argentine regulations, particularly related to UIF and CNV.

  • Advanced English for international communication and report writing.

  • Experience with compliance tools such as transaction monitoring and KYC/AML systems.

  • Proven track record of working with regulators and managing cross-functional teams.

  • Hands-on experience in policy development, training, and audits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Portuguese.

  • Previous experience in structuring or consolidating compliance departments.

  • Experience in financial institutions, payment platforms, or cryptocurrency companies.

  • Familiarity with the cryptocurrency sector or virtual asset regulations.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing internal or external teams.

  • Certification in Financial Compliance.
