About the job Controller

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead key areas of the accounting function within a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment. This individual will be responsible for managing monthly financial reporting, overseeing the close process, ensuring robust internal controls, and partnering with functional leaders to support strategic financial operations. The Controller will report directly to the Global Controller and play a critical role in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and consolidated reporting
  • Prepare monthly financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll review, including related journal entries and reconciliations
  • Oversee the monthly reporting cycle, ensuring alignment with global deadlines and guidelines
  • Support treasury activities, including daily banking operations and cash flow forecasting
  • Monitor and maintain project tracking and financial data through the ERP system (Maconomy or equivalent)
  • Review and approve balance sheet and selected P&L account reconciliations
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions across the organization
  • Manage corporate cost allocations to ensure accurate billing and chargebacks
  • Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing functions, working in close coordination with central teams
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, coding, and payments
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, including variance analysis
  • Prepare and submit reports for monthly and quarterly internal reporting packages
  • Lead internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation, performing research, and responding to audit inquiries
  • Maintain and strengthen SOX compliance, working closely with the corporate SOX team
  • Enforce and monitor accounting policies and internal control procedures
  • Manage a team of 5+ finance professionals, promoting collaboration and excellence across shared service functions
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as required
