Tax & Estates work youll learn and be exposed to:
Individuals and corporate clients, including both for-profit and non-profit entities, as well as established middle market companies and emerging growth companies.
estate planning, as well as probate, trust, and estate administration.
clients in estate planning and estate administration matters and advises on individual and fiduciary income tax returns, as well as gift tax returns.
advises clients on U.S. federal, as well as international and state, tax issues relating to business transactions, structuring, restructuring, planning, and compliance. Also, work providing practical solutions to promote tax efficiency and manage tax risk.
You will do work :
Which includes identifying, collecting and valuing assets, preparing inventories, fiduciary accountings, family settlement agreements, deeds and other documents as required. In addition, prepare different types of tax returns, including including Federal Estate Tax, Gift (and Generation-Skipping Transfer) Tax, Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax, federal and state individual and fiduciary income tax returns. You will maintain a high level of contact with clients, federal, state and county officials and financial institutions.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience:
- Pittsburgh office with the option for hybrid work
- Excellent computer skills, strong math skills, and high-level attention to detail required
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment necessary
Compensation will start at $50,000+ annually for the candidate with the experience above and go up from there commensurate with experience. This position is bonus eligable and includes a full benefits package.
