Cloud Windows Administrator

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of Windows deployments hosted within the cloudinfrastructure. This person will lead, oversee and maintain the Windows computing environment as per the

requirements of the organization. This professional will assist in setting up public cloud systems, balance
workload and deploy them in an automated way.
This position will establish and execute cloud operations as per specifications and parameters by implementing cost-effective cloud-based
systems that will fulfil the technical requirements

Responsibility
Proficiency in managing Azure resources and services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and databases.
Strong knowledge of Cloud IaaS Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
System OS Deployment: Plan, design, and implement server builds, OS hardening & deployments.
System Administration: Manage, configure, monitor and maintain Windows servers for production and development environments.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows servers, hardware, and software integrations.
Assist application teams in the resolution of complex technical problems, while providing appropriate communications to all involved
stakeholders.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD Entra ID, DNS and other Windows-based services.
Knowledge in networking concepts, including virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Ansible, Azure CLI, and Terraform.
Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize system performance, including CPU, memory, disk, and network.
Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions, including Azure Backup and Recovery.
Implement and maintain security measures, including user/group permissions and system hardening.
Patch Management: Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to Windows Servers while ensuring minimal downtime.
Knowledge of security best practices, including identity and access management, network security groups, network & data security and Azure
Security Center.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure system performance and
availability.
Understanding of compliance and governance policies, including Azure Policy and Blueprints.
Help maintain system procedures and documentation.
Experience
The individual in this position must have strong technical knowledge of virtual machines (IaaS, Writing Code (PaaS) and Software as a Service
(SaaS).
Should have good knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, and other Windows based technologies.
The ability to configure VMs and ntegrated roles & applications.
5+ years of relevant L3 experience.

Education Qualifications
Should have a bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, or telecommunications.
Should have certifications like Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) on Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.
