Skills and experience required include:

• Tertiary qualification in either Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• A minimum of 3-years experience in accounting or finance roles
• Experience with Xero accounting software
• Experience with Smart Payroll or similar, and a good understanding of payroll legislation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with forecasting and budget preparation
• New Zealand citizenship or residency and must currently live in New Zealand

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the New Zealand energy market
• Experience working in the software sector
• German language skills
