About the job Project Coordinator
Code District is looking for a proactive PMO Coordinator to support project delivery, ensure process consistency, and maintain clear visibility across ongoing initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in project coordination within software development environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Support & Coordination
- Assist in managing day-to-day project activities across multiple teams.
- Help track tasks, timelines, and dependencies, and flag potential delays.
- Support the end-to-end project lifecycle (planning, execution, monitoring, closure) under supervision.
Jira & Reporting
- Maintain Jira boards, tickets, and basic dashboards.
- Ensure data is up to date so reports reflect actual project status.
- Assist in preparing status reports and simple delivery metrics for internal and client use.
Meetings, Documentation & Communication
- Organize project meetings (standups, reviews, retros, planning sessions).
- Take and share meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups.
- Maintain project documentation (plans, trackers, summaries, decisions) in the agreed tools.
- Coordinate with Design, Development, QA, DevOps, and Sales for updates and clarifications.
Process & Agile Support
- Support adherence to project management and Agile practices.
- Help maintain checklists, templates, and simple process artifacts used by the PMO.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 6 months to 2 years of experience as a PMO Coordinator, ideally within a custom software development company.
- Basic understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong communication, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and maintain project discipline.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or Project Management.
