Job Description:
Systems Administrator
Duties:
· Manage existing internal systems in accordance with standards and project or operational requirements.
· Internal systems administration, including:
o Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, managing group memberships, etc.
o Training users on such systems
o Responsible for systems documentation, such as configuration, training documentation, systems policies, etc.
o Management of system updates.
o Management of content in systems such as the intranet system.
o Troubleshooting reported issues with internal systems.
· Contribute to and maintain system standards.
· Research and recommend innovative approaches for administration tasks.
· Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
· Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all systems, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
· Provide support per request from various functional areas. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements:
· Must have an IT Qualification/Degree
· Must have 2+ years of hands on experience managing Office 365 users & groups.
· Must have experience administering MS Sharepoint & MS Teams
· 2+ years’ experience in performing systems administration duties in the following areas:
o Active Directory
o Windows Servers
o Office 365
o Microsoft Sharepoint
o Linux
o IaaS (AWS, Google)
o Support desk supervision
