Job brief

For one of our projects, we are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with good Vue.js experience, who supports us in the development of a new multinational e-commerce platform.

Through your comprehensive know-how in front-end optimization and development of products in the e-commerce environment, you contribute to our shared business success

You can work remote from within EMEA, but should be able to travel twice a year for company events.

Responsibilities

• Develop new capabilities and re-architect parts of an existing system.

• Take part in test-driven, iterative development, prototyping, and reviews with a team of developers.

• Implement scalable and robust services.

• Develop and run unit and performance tests to ensure scalability and reliability.

• Review and debug code.

• Work in close relationship with UI/UX department

• Develops documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clean code to explain and show solutions.

• Determines and designs system specifications, standards, and programming to prepare and install solutions.

Requirements

• A degree in media design, media informatics, Software Engineering, or similar

• 3 years of experience (at senior level) in coding e-commerce front-end applications

• A passion for modern web frameworks such as Vue.js

• Extensive know-how in HTML, CSS and Javascript technologies

• CI/CD is no foreign word to you

• Knowledge of design tools like Figma and Adobe XD

• You have extensive knowledge of GitHub

• Knowledge of container and serverless-based architectures is desirable

• A plus would be some experience with Shopware, Magento
