To expand our R&D efforts, we are seeking talented individuals to help us design, develop and test advanced construction technology into our 3D construction printers. Are you looking for a position in applied research towards product development in the automated construction industry? Then look no further! We are seeking talented individuals to fill a full-time internship role with a minimum duration of 4 months as a mechatronics engineer. Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • PLC Code Debugging and Testing: Support the debugging and testing of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) code to ensure robust and reliable control systems.
  • Prototype Assembly: Assist design engineers in assembling prototypes, ensuring precise and efficient construction of test models.
  • Documentation: Create and update documentation for cable sets and electrical diagrams, maintaining clear and accurate records.
  • Production Assistance: Assist the electrical production department in building new printers, contributing to the assembly process and ensuring high-quality output.
  • Concrete 3D Printing: Learn about the processes involved in concrete 3D printing and provide support during print days, gaining hands-on experience with advanced 3D printing technology.
  • CAD Design: Perform various CAD design tasks using Fusion360, contributing to the design and development of components and systems.

Preferred skills and experience:

Fluent English (both written and verbal) as this is the company language.

A background in mechatronics, electrical engineering or similar technical fields is a must.

Electrical, programming and fabrication skills are a plus. Knowledge of and experience with 3D printing, CAD skills and hands-on mechanical work would also be highly beneficial.
