Overview:

We are seeking a technically skilled professional with experience in configuring analytics systems and developing digital representations of mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical or building systems engineering and is comfortable working with networked environments and data-driven technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality support and implementation of building analytics and diagnostics systems for clients and partners.
  • Manage onboarding and integration projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to technical and quality standards.
  • Set up data collection and integration services, organize data for system analysis, and support digital modeling of mechanical assets.
  • Troubleshoot system diagnostics and validate automated fault detection results.
  • Provide user training and technical guidance related to data connectivity, system configuration, and networking fundamentals.
  • Maintain and support connected sites, ensuring ongoing system reliability and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product development teams to enhance system functionality and improve deployment processes.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to the development of more efficient project execution strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent field experience may be considered.
  • 3-6 years of experience in HVAC systems, building controls, or performance analytics.
  • Familiarity with network configuration, firewalls, servers, and basic networking commands.
  • Working knowledge of Building Automation System (BAS) protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Haystack, or oBIX.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator capable of explaining technical concepts to clients and team members in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical projects across different time zones or regions.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies related to smart buildings and system automation.
  • Preferred: Experience in automated fault detection and diagnostics, performance monitoring, or ongoing commissioning.
