Role: Team Lead, Legal Compliance
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Oversees corporate and regulatory compliance requirements, ensuring the timely submission of reportorial obligations and registrations with government agencies.
- Manages Data Privacy compliance, including Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Data Processing System (DPS) registrations with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
- Processes and monitors Tax Clearance, PhilGEPS registrations, and other corporate compliance requirements for the company and clients.
- Prepares, organizes, and reviews legal and corporate documents/files required for regulatory filings, registrations, compliance submissions, and client requirements.
- Leads compliance projects, tracks deliverables, and ensures adherence to regulatory deadlines.
- Conducts quality assurance reviews of legal, compliance, and corporate documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervises and mentors the compliance team, performs final QA of deliverables, and ensures adherence to company protocols, processes, and service standards.
- Maintains compliance monitoring systems, records management, and
- process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Key Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Business Administration, Accountancy, Law, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in corporate compliance, legal compliance, regulatory affairs, corporate governance, or related functions.
- Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience managing compliance or legal support teams.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine corporate and regulatory compliance requirements, including SEC, BIR, LGU, PhilGEPS, and other government agency regulations.
- Experience handling Data Privacy compliance, including National Privacy Commission (NPC) requirements, DPO registration, and Data Processing System (DPS) registration.
- Proven experience in processing corporate registrations, permits, licenses, tax clearances, and reportorial requirements.
Work Setup: Full Onsite, Monday to Saturday, half-day schedule during Saturdays
