About the job District Manager
Summary:
A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a District Manager under the Lifecare Division (Cardio, Critical Care, and Diabetes), to be assigned in Central Visayas, including Bicol. This field-based role is responsible for driving sales performance, implementing business strategies, and managing a team to achieve revenue and market share growth. The manager will oversee district operations, develop key customer relationships, and ensure effective execution of promotional programs, all while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and high performance.
Responsibilities:
Sales Achievement & Revenue
- To implement plans and goals that will deliver sales achievement by attaining the required sales performance in a defined period.
- Monitors and reviews product performance of major and minor brands.
- Reviews and initiates plan to sustain sales, product movement, inventory levels, and sales at trade outlets, hospital pharmacies, and other accounts.
Territory Business Management
- Manages and supports the development of Key Opinion Leaders within the assigned district.
- Ensures target MDs are included in the MRs master list, and the same is regularly updated to support the growing business.
- Ensures the timely implementation of Marketing programs based on the plan of action.
- Responds effectively to immediate customers concerns, needs or queries. Attends to these from a professional perspective and in alignment with the company's guidelines of code of business conduct.
- Closely coordinate with HRD to ensure that no vacancy in the team will occur for more than 2 weeks.
- Manage effectively the operational expenses and company assets.
- Prepares necessary documentation and reports as required. Submit these within the allotted timeline.
- Performs other related functions as may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time to carry out business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Life Sciences, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to coach and develop team members.
- Excellent decision-making, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and company computer tools.
- Physically and mentally fit to work effectively in the field with irregular work hours.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Philippines and accept assignments anywhere as needed.
- High degree of integrity with full compliance to corporate code of conduct and company policies.
