Job Summary:

    Primary Function/General Purpose of Position:

    This role provides data and analytical support to the team by extracting and preparing data from various sources to create advanced statistical analyses and predictive models. Responsibilities include developing regular and ad hoc reports, ensuring data integrity, and delivering insights that enable informed decision-making for ministry challenges. The position also involves collaborating with team members to enhance reporting capabilities and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Extract people-related data from multiple disparate sources.
    • Assist in data preparation to create advanced statistical analyses and predictive models.
    • Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used; implement basic validation checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    • Proactively flag potential data quality issues and collaborate with senior team members or Data Engineers to address them.
    • Build analytic capabilities and predictive models using statistical techniques to resolve ministry challenges and uncover critical human capital insights.
    • Work with senior team members to refine models and optimize their performance for specific use cases; document modeling processes, assumptions, and results for transparency and reproducibility.
    • Collaborate with team members and managers to understand ministry needs and assist in the development of advanced analytical solutions and plans.
    • Communicate insights in a clear and structured way, using visuals and narratives to engage the audience; tailor storytelling approach to suit the needs of technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Stay up to date with the latest advanced analytical and machine learning technologies; possess a foundational understanding of the healthcare industry, including common challenges, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Assist in the development of data visualizations that provide deeper workforce insight for senior leadership.

    Education:

    Bachelor degree (preferred)

    Work Experience:

    2+ years of related experience (required)

    Training:

    • Experience using R, SAS, Python (strongly preferred), or SQL (strongly preferred) for data analytics.
    • Familiarity with Workday Reporting, Workday PRISM, and/or other large-scale Human Capital Management (HCM) systems preferred.
    • Basic familiarity with Databricks or a strong willingness to learn and adopt the platform quickly.

    Shift: Night shift
    Setup:

    • Training: 3 months on‑site
    • Work arrangement after training: Hybrid (3x per week return to office)
