Sr. Sales Engineer (Reinforcement Systems)

Job Scope

  • The Sales Engineer/Manager is responsible for both Mechanical Coupler Reinforcement systems sales/pre-sales, and shall collaborate with technical, marketing and specifications team.
  • They must provide customers with technical advice on the use of company's brand products and to exploit market opportunities leading to increasing brand awareness.
  • They will have to regularly update market intelligence reports on relevant construction industry and competition.

Key Responsibilities

  • They shall develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and stakeholders under company's construction accessories product segments primarily focusing on REBAR COUPLERS; but should be adept in other products in company's portfolio.
  • Responsible for sales & business development for existing/new products and application fields; not limited to Structural, Industrial, Data Center, Infrastructure, Buildings, Precast, Tunneling, MEPF, Power and Renewable Energy.
  • Conduct presentations in coordination with Technical Department.
  • Research on local construction methods and country specific construction methods.
  • Preparing and working on proposals for quotations, bids or tenders.
  • Organize seminars for customers/design institutes/external product training.
  • Participate in related exhibitions/trade fairs/seminars and related events.
  • Developing & maintaining proper archive of sales, marketing and technical related documents.
  • To perform other duties as necessary to execute core duties or other duties assigned by Country General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), or equivalent

Prior Experience & Specific Skills:

  • Previous experience for at least 5 years in related field – construction, engineering & design, architecture and building materials.
