About the job Credit Risk Officer
Summary:
A leading commercial banking group is seeking for a Credit Risk Officer to join the team and help manage the corporate lending portfolio. Youll assess and review credit risk for both new and existing borrowers, ensure thorough credit due diligence, and ensure compliance with regulations, all while supporting the banks broader risk management efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent credit assessments and write detailed Credit Due Diligence Reports for corporate borrowers.
- Review financial statements, validate projections, and assess the reasonableness of credit ratings.
- Identify and mitigate risks such as financial, operational, and management-related issues.
- Analyze credit history and assess collateral quality, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Coordinate and support CRECOM meetings, credit approvals, and maintain documentation.
- Participate in client and plant visits with Relationship Managers to understand business activities.
- Assist in portfolio reviews, industry studies, and the development of risk appetite guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with internal/external audits and prepare necessary reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in banking, specifically in corporate credit risk due diligence.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, cash flow projections, and sector studies.
- Understanding of credit risk evaluation and regulatory compliance.
- CFA or FRA is a plus!
Work Setup: Full on-site, Monday-Friday
Schedule: Day shift, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
