Position Overview
Plays a global role in supporting the digital capabilities by delivering personalized training and coaching to both legal professionals and business support staff. This role leverages various instructional formats including virtual classrooms, 1:1 coaching, instructional videos, eLearning content, live webinars, and on-site sessions.
As part of a worldwide training team, the specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing instructional materials such as user guides, video tutorials, knowledge base articles, and presentations to support both ongoing initiatives and new technology implementations.
The role contributes to broader technology adoption strategies, helps design training plans, and provides operational support for training logistics, reporting, content development, and scheduling.
Responsibilities:
1. Instructional Delivery
- Conducts one-on-one and group technology training sessions using diverse methods (e.g., virtual sessions, live instruction, follow-ups, and desk-side support).
- Facilitates onboarding sessions and digital orientation for new joiners.
- Creates, edits, and updates training content including how-to guides, videos, eLearning modules, and internal posts, adhering to organizational communication standards.
2. User and Operational Support
- Supports technology rollout initiatives by assisting in tool evaluation, user testing, and troubleshooting.
- Monitors learner engagement and adoption to recommend follow-up support or training.
- Responds to training requests and inquiries in collaboration with the technical support team.
- Assists with onboarding activities, office technology transitions, and internal tech events.
3. Collaboration and Coordination
- Partners with department heads and project teams to align training with business needs.
- Reviews, edits, and finalizes learning resources, ensuring consistency and clarity.
- Prepares training environments (virtual or physical) for effective delivery.
- Coordinates with video production and communications teams to distribute content on internal learning platforms.
- Responds to knowledge-based inquiries and user support tickets as needed.
- Travels to regional offices as required for training rollouts or onboarding support.
- Participates in team meetings and contributes to cross-regional training initiatives.
- Willingness to adjust working hours to accommodate global training needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional diploma.
- Certification in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., MOS) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience delivering technology-focused training, ideally in a legal, consulting, or other corporate setting.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, and emerging AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
- Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., iManage or similar), CRM tools, timekeeping software (e.g., Intapp), and PDF editing tools like Kofaxpreferred but not required.
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving technologies and internal systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and course design methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and client-focused mindset.
- Ability to self-manage and take ownership of content development and training projects.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and initiative.
- Comfortable contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives.
