Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining the availability, integrity, and configuration of the Ariba system, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the organization's vision of becoming an industry leader in specialty chemicals and materials, integrating core values into day-to-day activities.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the strategic roadmap aimed at simplifying, standardizing, and automating global procurement processes and systems.
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration between the Procurement and IT teams on key initiatives.
  • Build relationships with industry professionals to explore best practices and benchmark performance, ensuring that systems and processes remain optimized.
  • Continuously drive incremental improvements and transformative changes to enhance the Source-to-Pay process, maintaining a competitive edge in procurement performance.
  • Administer and maintain system security to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of the Ariba platform.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Ariba systems, including Source-to-Contract, Supplier Lifecycle and Performance Management (SLPM), Ariba Buyer (Guided Buying), SAP Business Network, and Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG).
  • Oversee user management, including users, roles, permissions, and organizations within the Ariba platform.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Enablement and Master Data Management (MDM) teams to ensure smooth onboarding and deactivation of suppliers within the Ariba Supplier Network.
  • Work alongside the Commercial Card Team to ensure proper integration with procurement card and virtual card programs.
  • Liaise with Ariba support and internal IT teams to resolve system and data-related issues and escalate enhancement requests where necessary.
  • Provide second-level Ariba support to end users, resolving issues effectively.
  • Intermediate proficiency in the Ariba Supplier Network, including understanding defect tracking and issue resolution.
  • Implement system controls under company-wide policies, including those from Procurement, Master Data, Audit, and Finance teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain Management are preferred.
  • High proficiency in SAP, particularly concerning procure-to-pay processes, along with administrative expertise.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with the following Ariba modules
