Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire hiring process, from job posting to onboarding and collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and requirements.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Manage employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Facilitate professional development and growth opportunities for staff.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
  • Ensure the schools HR practices comply with labor laws and standards.
  • Oversee salary administration and ensure competitive compensation practices.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and provide information to staff.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to align HR strategies with the schools mission and goals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or Head of HR, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
