About the job Digital Channel Manager
The Dealership Channel Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the dealership network to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability. This role involves developing strategic plans, enhancing dealer performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering strong relationships with dealership partners. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve motor sales targets through the dealership and agents network.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with the sales operations and marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns.
2. Dealer Network Management:
- Oversee the recruitment, selection, and training of dealerships.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealership owners and managers.
- Ensure dealerships comply with company standards and policies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to dealerships.
3. Sales Performance
- Set sales targets and monitor dealership and agency motor car line of business performance against these targets.
- Analyze sales data and develop action plans to address any shortfalls.
- Implement incentive programs to motivate dealership sales teams.
4. Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across the dealership network.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service quality.
5. Financial Management
- Manage the budget for the dealership channel and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Monitor the financial performance of dealerships and guide on improving profitability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with dealership partners.
6. Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and dealership activities.
- Use data analysis to drive decision-making and strategic initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the insurance, banking, or automotive industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing dealership networks.
- Ability to travel frequently to visit dealerships and attend industry events.
