Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Key Accounts Head to lead and grow our clients key accounts portfolio in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. This leadership role will be instrumental in driving national retail partnerships, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering sustained business growth across all key accounts.
As the Key Accounts Head, you will be responsible for developing and executing key account strategies, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring alignment with the companys overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement national key account strategies to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability.
- Lead negotiations and manage long-term partnerships with top modern trade, general trade, and e-commerce retail chains.
- Drive annual business plans and joint business planning (JBP) with key accounts, including promotions, category development, and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Trade Marketing, and Finance to ensure seamless execution of key account initiatives.
- Analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and present business insights to senior management.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies proactively.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing key accounts team across the country.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards in all dealings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 5 years in key account management at a national level.
- Proven track record of building and growing relationships with major retail accounts.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of P&L management.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
