Lending and Portfolio Management & Analysis Manager
Job Description:
An award-winning digital bank is seeking a Lending and Portfolio Management & Analysis Manager, delivering a differentiated product to market that addresses a market need and represents a viable business opportunity
Responsibilities:
i. Product Management
a. Ensuring that the product supports the companys overall strategy and goals
b. Responsible for executing product goals for GCredit, Revi Credit and Personal Loans, SpayLater and other upcoming lending products
c. Delivering a differentiated product to market that addresses a market need and represents a viable business opportunity
d. Works closely with technology, marketing, finance, operations and customer support to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met
e. Is a market expert. Market expertise includes understanding the reasons customers sign up for loan products. This includes a deep understanding of the competition, and how customers think
f. Recommends or contributes information in setting product pricing
ii. Risk Management
a. Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating product risks to the Head of Lending Products of the Bank as well as managing them
iii. Governance
a. Awareness and Understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Bank operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
b. Collaboratively work with internal stakeholders and local regulators to address governance issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline (Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics/Financial Engineering/Applied Mathematics/Actuarial Science)
- 8-10 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with relevant experience in technical positions such as Finance, Risk, Analytics or product management
- People management experience
- Consumer banking experience is a plus
- Strong numeracy and good problem-solving ability
- Able to understand and disseminate financial performance information in a business context
- Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint
- Proactive
- Strong interpersonal skills which allows the candidate to effectively engage with both senior stakeholders and peers across different teams o Strong presentation and influencing skills
Work Setup:
Setup: Hybrid (3X onsite per week)
