Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee daily accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, and fixed asset management.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management reports and local financial statements.
  • Ensure consistency between local books and consolidated group financial reporting.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with local tax laws, audit regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities to manage audits and filings.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for compliance and regulatory review.

Cost Control & Operational Finance

  • Monitor production costs, bill of materials (BOM) variances, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
  • Collaborate with operations to analyze spending and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Oversee procurement finance processes, vendor payments, and inventory accounting.

Cash Flow & Treasury

  • Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and treasury activities.
  • Coordinate intercompany funding, payments, and foreign exchange transactions.
  • Prepare regular cash position updates and projections for local and group use.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Develop and implement finance-related standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Strengthen internal controls around purchasing, asset management, and payroll.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and suggest control enhancements.

Team Leadership & Cross-Border Coordination

  • Lead and develop the local finance team, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
  • Coordinate closely with the regional or group finance function on reporting, budgeting, and audits.
  • Support group-level financial consolidation, capex tracking, and intercompany reconciliations.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification required.
  • 5-7 years of finance experience, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax compliance, and labor-related financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks) is a plus.
  • High attention to detail with integrity and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, especially with multinational teams and group finance counterparts.
