Head, Technology Risk

A modern digital bank is seeking a Head of Technology Risk to lead efforts in mitigating technology-related risks, ensuring digital systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with regulations. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies, policies, and standards, driving the technology risk practices forward.

Responsibilities:

• Guide business units on technology and information security risk management
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data security and system integrity
• Conduct third-party assessments and IT due diligence
• Lead projects with technology components to implement baseline requirements
• Oversee periodic compliance reviews and security testing
• Identify and address security risks and vulnerabilities
• Coordinate incident investigations and post-mortem analyses
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Raise awareness of technology and security best practices within the organization
• Establish and maintain control standards across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
• 8+ years of experience in Technology Risk Management or Operational Risk Management, preferably in digital or non-traditional banking/financial services.
• Strong background in managing technology-related areas, such as incident management, problem management, and change management
• Certification in ITIL, PSM, or other technology-related licenses is a plus!

Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days on-site)
