Assistant Key Account Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Key Account Manager Offline to support and grow our business in the Philippines. This role will focus on managing key offline retail accounts, ensuring strong in-store execution, expanding channel presence, and driving new product listings. The ideal candidate must have prior experience handling major retailers such as SM, Rustans, National Bookstore, Robinsons, and Metro.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Account Management & Sales Execution

· Manage and grow assigned offline retail accounts to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

· Build and maintain strong working relationships with buyers and store operations teams.

· Conduct business reviews, create joint business plans, and manage promotional calendars with each account.

· Ensure proper order processing and on-time delivery to retail stores.

Stock Planning & Inventory Management

· Plan and manage stock forecasts and replenishment in coordination with retailers and internal supply chain team.

· Ensure timely delivery of stocks to stores and maintain healthy inventory levels across all key accounts.

· Monitor sell-through and stock movement and take proactive steps to avoid overstock or out-of-stock situations.

· Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams and retailers to address stock or delivery-related issues promptly.

Business Development & Channel Expansion

· Identify opportunities to expand presence within existing accounts or onboard new retail chains.

· Propose and implement initiatives to increase store count, visibility, and shelf space.

· Drive growth by introducing new channels or expanding into untapped offline segments.

New Product Launches & Listing

· Lead product listing and introduction across retail partners, ensuring smooth onboarding of new SKUs.

· Manage sell-in presentations, product training, and sampling sessions with buyers.

· Oversee the launch execution, including pricing, promotional support, and in-store displays.

Sampling & Trade Activation

· Execute sampling activities and trials with retail buyers to support new product launches.

· Implement in-store promotions, POS displays, and trade marketing programs to drive product visibility and conversion.

Analysis & Reporting

· Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity regularly.

· Prepare detailed reports and presentations on account performance and key initiatives.

· Use data insights to recommend improvements and growth strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with Sales Admin, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to ensure effective execution of sales and marketing plans.

· Manage account documentation, promotional claims, and credit processes as needed.

Requirements:

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

· Experience: Minimum 2-4 years in Key Account Management or Trade Marketing with experience in offline retail in the Philippines.

· Retail Network Knowledge: Hands-on experience with major retailers like SM, Rustans, National Bookstore, Robinsons, and Metro.

· Strong understanding of stock planning, order forecasting, and inventory management.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with sales reporting tools.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong organizational skills.
