About the job Finance Operations Officer
- Manage daily cash and bank transfers, ensuring adequate funds in accounts and coordinating payment requests with relevant teams.
- Conduct daily reconciliations to verify cash balances align with system records.
- Calculate and verify commissions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Record journal entries while maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
- Generate invoices, process billings, and update transactions in the general ledger.
- Execute daily financial processes, promptly identifying, addressing, and escalating any discrepancies.
- Support trust accounting journal preparations.
- Contribute to monthly trust financials and group management reporting.
- Document finance operations procedures.
- Assist in preparing trust and fund financial statements.
- Support audit processes for both group and trust requirements.
- Handle additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
· Commercial experience of over 3 years where you have gained experience in high volume daily processing and reconciliations
· Has over 5 years of experience in collaborating and partnering with foreign senior stakeholders
· Working knowledge in Continuous Improvement specific to accounting process-mapping and streamlining.
· Strong knowledge of financial operations and accounting
· Proficient in MS Excel
· Strong understanding of cash to system reconciliations
· Excellent numerical skills.
