Marketing Specialist
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategy in accordance with the Marketing Department guidelines. This also includes planning and ensuring that objectives are developed and implemented in line with the overall business and commercial goals to drive growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Defines the local marketing strategy in accordance with the General Manager and in compliance with the Headquarters guidelines.
- Plans, organizes, and coordinated all marketing and communication activities, ensuring that the marketing objectives are aligned to the company business targets.
- Develops and implements the marketing plan and budget in accordance with the Finance department instructions.
- Oversees and is responsible for consistent brand positioning, and execution of the brand guidelines across all touchpoints.
- Manages the product launches (go to market), working together with the General Manager of the local subsidiary, the Sales managers, and the Corporate Operational Marketing dept.
- Implements digital activities through the use of company website and social networks, creating engaging concepts, and narratives.
- Manages and coordinates communication projects, both internal (newsletter, Intranet) and external (newsletter, media both trade and generalist, press relations, P.R.).
- Manages CRM activities based on data analysis and intelligence.
- Organizes and oversees technical trainings, seminars, conferences, fairs, and events.
- Designs, releases, and updates technical documentation (brochures, product catalogues, data sheets, price lists, flyers), in cooperation with the Product Manager and Technical assistance, verifying their compliance with local and international regulations.
- Designs, releases, and updates labels and packaging, in cooperation with Product Manager, verifying their congruence with local and international regulations.
- Is responsible to respect health and safety, environmental and quality requirements during the realization of his/her activities and to ensure that these regulations are respected within the department he/she is in-charge of.
- Work in close cooperation with the Corporate Marketing Department which provides guidelines, operative, and specialist instructions.
- Follows Corporate and local policies and procedures, while performing the activities.
- Assures the respect of values and principles described in the Group Code of Ethics and is responsible of the data he/she works with, guaranteeing to treat them with the utmost confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors/masters degree in business administration, Marketing, Communication/Public Relations field.
- Fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel.
- Proven leadership and teamwork ability. Strong communication skills to be able to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Solid drive for excellence and result, guaranteeing at the same time work quality and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to organize the work, to set priorities and to determine resources and timing to achieve efficiently the goals.
- Proven problem-solving skills. Flexible, open-minded, and proactive approach, able to adapt to an evolving context.
- Strong passion, engagement, and dynamism.
