Senior Brand Manager
Leads the development of brand strategy and brand equity, including market landscape analysis, innovation, execution, and post-evaluation of integrated brand programs. This role ensures the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, profitability, basket size, dealer penetration, and brand equity metrics (awareness, conversion, and retention among both dealers and consumers).
Responsibilities:
A. Strategic Thinking
- Develops brand strategies, roadmaps, and marketing plans aligned with overarching objectives. Proposes new go-to-market strategies to enhance brand demand and credibility, boost consumer engagement, and drive innovation.
- Identifies best practices and innovative ideas to leverage for effective brand planning.
B. Brand & Project Management
- Oversees the development, implementation, and management of new products, ensuring adherence to timelines and alignment with consumer needs, strategic goals, and financial constraints.
- Utilizes market intelligence to inform brand plans, identifies and summarizes industry trends, and assesses competitors to recommend strategies for gaining a competitive edge and differentiating the brand.
C. Excellence in Planning & Execution
- Executes plans flawlessly and on schedule, concentrating on key initiatives that yield significant business results.
- Delivers high-quality execution of new product initiatives, conducts post-evaluations to measure performance against targets, and identifies key learnings and corrective actions.
D. Budget Planning & Monitoring
- Integrates marketing plans with budgets to set targets for sales, market share, and profitability.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and programs, providing objective assessments to optimize marketing investments and achieve business outcomes.
E. Internal & External Collaboration
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through close collaboration.
Qualifications:
- At least 7-8 years of brand management experience in the FMCG industry, preferably with a background in Personal Care, Skin Care, or Health categories from leading FMCG companies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, with proven ability to create and implement go-to-market strategies and plans.
- Experience in digital marketing and e-commerce.
- Highly strategic with strong skills in analyzing market data, identifying trends, and developing actionable plans.
- Proficient in recognizing consumer needs and opportunities, using these insights to drive brand initiatives.
- Self-motivated with excellent project management skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrates resilience, agility, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Innovative thinker with a continuous drive to enhance processes and practices.
