Summary of the role

We are seeking an experienced Studio Manager to lead a team of designers and project managers in producing global branded materials. This role requires proven expertise in managing creative teams, strong collaboration skills, and a commitment to enhancing design quality. You will work closely with colleagues to address needs and challenges while ensuring our brand is effectively represented worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the studios operations and ensure team success.
  • Collaborate with marketing leaders to align on design needs and strategies.
  • Manage and support team tasks, fostering a positive culture and high performance.
  • Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring readiness for exceptional output.
  • Address escalated issues with internal clients, offering creative solutions.
  • Utilize tools to track data and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage workload and capacity through team and external resources.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met and maintained.
  • Establish partnerships with external agencies to enhance studio capabilities.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, or a related field
  • 5-10 or more years at a design, creative or similar company, or within a corporate design team
  • 3-5 years of experience managing creative teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity of design software (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.) 
  • Knowledge of Workfront is an advantage
  • Comprehensive understanding of print, digital, event design processes, and current marketing trends and best practices
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Ability to recognize and resolve issues that affect team performance while maintaining a holistic view.
  • Proven ability to build and lead successful teams
  • Skilled in relationship-building and navigating competing needs
